Thredbo has many activities for all ages and tastes. Guided walks to Mt Kosciuszko that start with a chairlift ride are very popular and a great introduction to the Snowy Mountains. Specialised childrens activity programmes during holiday periods are another must. Have a swim in the indoor heated pool, with waterslide for the kids. Ride the Thredbo bobsled or drive a golf ball. Cling to our climbing wall, it is horizontal so is not scary, play tennis or squash. Multi-day Activity Packages are available.

Walking from either the top of the Thredbo chairlift or from Charlottes pass is a return distance of about 14km and is easily within the capabilities of most reasonably fit people. Be cautious with the weather and take plenty of bad weather clothing in case of sudden changes which happen very often and very quickly.

2 hours 30 minutes from Jindabyne, there are many caves for tour, either guided or self investigating. It is a great experience to swim in the natural, thermal pool. Picnics are always welcome in the picnic area with electric BBQ available. Combine this trip with a visit to Tumut 2 power station Cabramurra.
