DRIVING FROM SYDNEY

As you drive out of Sydney follow the Hume Highway, just south of Goulburn take the Federal Highway and travel south to Canberra. This section of the trip is on a mainly divided road. At Canberra follow the signs saying Monaro Highway, Cooma. Continue for roughly 2 hours through Bredbo to Cooma. Drive through Cooma, the road then becomes Kosciuszko Rd which takes you through the township of Berridale and travel onwards to Jindabyne. Jindabyne Real Estate & Holidays is located in the "old" Town Centre, which is the first
complex on your left as you drive into the township. Our office is above Jindabyne Sports Store.

DRIVING FROM MELBOURNE

Follow the Hume Highway from Melbourne to Wodonga. Take the Murray Valley Highway "To Wodonga / Tallangatta" exit and follow the signs "To Tallangatta". After passing Wodonga, follow the signs to Tallangatta again on the Murray Valley Highway. You will pass through the village of Koetong onto Corryong. Drive through Corryong and take the "Khancoban" turn off on your right. Once in Khancoban you are only 76kms from Thredbo. The road becomes quite windy and steep in places. Continue past Thredbo for approximately 30km until you reach a T junction, turn right onto Kosciusko Rd and follow for approimately 5 mins and you will be in the heart of Jindabyne. Drive through the first and second round-abouts. Opposite the Lake Jindabyne Hotel is the "old" Town Centre, where our office is located above Jindabyne Sports Store.

ROAD CONDITIONS

Please note that the roads are clear for most of the year. However, between the June long weekend and the October long weekend the snow season is upon us. Two wheel drive vehicles are required by law to carry chains within the National Park during this time. Please check with the RMS
